When I was 26 I lived above one of the Cibreo restaurants; il teatro. Every day they had a casual Fiorentino feast for lunch; you pay a fair price and it is essentially a buffet, just classier and with better food than most. Old school Florentines come and sit for hours in a dark room lined with old books. I was so pinched for cash that first year; even though it was just two floors below me, having lunch here was a real treat.
