Bologna, an ancient Etruscan city, is magnificent to photograph, with its porticoes, arches, and architectural motifs. The Bolognesi are sophisticated, well-educated, and progressive, and with the oldest university in Italy and a robust economy, a very efficient and productive people as well. I love to photograph the modern Bolognesi against the ancient city, a lovely contrast.
